I plan to write several volumes for Aloïsia, but life is fragile so I say thank you now.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to read this comic book. You are without a doubt amazing.

I need to thank my boyfriend Matt. He was the first person I told about writing a comic book, and he did not hesitate in telling me it was a great idea. He created the panels. We learned together.

The second person, who is perhaps one of the people that helped me put this all together, Travis. Travis was the second person I told about the idea. I was trying to put together a small team that would help me with this new journey, and he was immediately supportive and was willing to help at any time. His brutally honest edits allowed me to focus more on giving the audience something as close to perfection as I could reach.

My cousin Buddha who gave me great ideas for the panels! Thank you so much! Your graphic designs and artistry will go so far. I love you. My cousin Kaye, who read one of the earliest copies and told me how much she loved it. Even if she wasn’t telling me the truth in the early writing stages, her comments gave me the motivation to continue. My big sister Lesley who supported me even though she’s always busy. Seriously, she doesn’t sleep. Of course, my sister: Mari, my brothers: Trey for the advertisement money & Bubba, my cousins: Marriah, Vanessa, Eli for all the feedback. My entire family for sharing my post! They were a little tester group for some of the artwork, and I’m sure they’re tired of me by now. I thank all my friends who continuously show unwavering support.

My parents. I love you both so much. Thank you for raising me to believe I could be anything I wanted to be in this world.

I would like to thank Beyoncé for inviting me to her 35th Birthday party. My invitation was lost in the mail, but there’s always next year. Thank you to Laverne Cox for being fearless. Thank you Johnetta Elzie, I don’t even know if this is your real name, but I follow you on Twitter. I love you for being unapologetically black. Thank you to Anita Hill for having the courage to speak out. Thank you to P!nk, the Missundaztood album really got me through a lot of hard times. Mariska Hargitay for being Oliva Benson. Jada Pinkett Smith for being an amazing supportive mother. My good friends Venus & Serena Williams because you’re the greatest athletes of all time, thank you. Thank you: J.K. Rowling for opening my imagination, Ruby Bridges & Colin Kaepernick for showing courage, Captain Sully for being a real life hero. Whoopie Goldberg thank you for accepting the role in Star Trek.

I remember a conversation I had with Lucy Lawless. I asked her how could I portray a character that was equally as strong as Xena: Warrior Princess. Just kidding, I haven’t personally had a chance to meet Lucy Lawless… one day.

Finally, don’t let all that’s happening in the world, or even this Thank You page distract you from the fact that J.Cole went platinum with no features!
